In this Magic Square the words read the same backwards and forwards, horizontally and vertically. It was used for protection and for overcoming danger and difficulties.
The words are Latin, and the earliest examples are from 1st century Pompeii. It was often scratched on the walls of houses, or written out on paper as a charm by cunning folk for their clients.
The exact meaning of the words is debated, but is probably something like, 'The Creator, to whom I appeal for help, controls all our endeavors and all the changes of fortune that befall us.'
Roughly 3.5 - 4" across.
Engraved onto a slate tile with rubber feet on the backside.
These are left unfinished so that you may imbue them with offerings before applying a clear coat, they will last unfinished but if you are going to be carrying them around we recommend applying a light clear coat from an aerosol for extra protection.
You can use this to put candles or incense on to mark the quarters of an elemental circle.
These tiles are made to order, typical wait before shipping is 3 to 5 business days.
