The Vehicle of Love and Light created by Mark Heartwell of Vancouver, BC is truly a unique masterpiece of art, radiating powerful messages and visuals.

During several trips to Vancouver, I was always curious about the genius behind the vehicle, and what his inspiration and ultimate goal was when it was created. It was Divine timing when I finally met this remarkable man; we had an instant connection beyond words.

He shared with me why he started decorating the vehicle; he placed maple leafs on the hood to thank Canada for giving him the opportunity to become further educated at a time when he had been struggling. He then went through a spiritual journey and the car began to evolve as the Divine guided him to design the vehicle with powerful and beautiful messages. He went through another journey where he began to experience the child within and that was the third and final phase of the vehicle's evolution.

He says, "There is something on this car for everyone." He is right. There truly is. And I had the blessed opportunity to witness it first hand. On the day we met, I was flying back to Toronto in an hour and as we chatted for a bit, he expressed how it would be great to document the vehicle in case something were to ever happen to it, such as a car accident.

The day before we met, I was with a dear friend who is a videographer and he showed me how he films vehicles and places. As he showed me these videos, I told him I felt he and I needed to create a documentary together, and although I didn't yet know the subject, I was positive that the inspiration would arrive in perfect timing. Yes, perfect timing it was when I met Mark and his vehicle the next day and he expressed the desire to have it documented. I told him I would return to Vancouver in the coming months to shoot a documentary that captured the unique story behind him and his vehicle.

Two months later, in October 2009, I was back in Vancouver, all excited to get started with filming. We gathered footage, interviewed him, and captured the essence of his "I am" vehicle. My intuitive feeling was that if he couldn't take the car around the world, then the next best thing would be to share the documentary far and wide.

The two days that I travelled with him in the "I am" vehicle were among the most blissful experiences I have had in a long time. That vehicle contained so much positive and loving energy that I further realized the impact it has on people. When we drove around the city, people stared and beamingly smiled with such warmth as they looked at it or exchanged the North American peace sign. When the car was parked and people had a closer look, they were in awe, wonder, and fascination at the figures, words and images on the vehicle. People commented how it resonated with them and some people even felt from their hearts to contribute by donating an item for him to put on the car.
